About ten minutes into the start of my hike toward the base of Mt. Sill, I looked back the way I'd come. My campsite was hidden somewhere in the trees. I left a few pounds of gear I wouldn't need for the climb behind, and used my backpack as my summit pack. With such a light pack, I made good time.
