The Skinny:

This year I've pre-culled the best fifty percent or so of what was shot. They're also generally straightened and roughly cropped.
These are the exact same shots that were displayed on the monitors in the lounge. Thanks to all of you that stopped by and enjoyed the display!
There's two galleries below - one for Friday, and one for Sunday - the two days I was able to get out on the water.
I used the same camera lens combos as last year - a 300mm prime on an 13mp body for the close action and cockpit shots, and a 70-200mm zoom on a 21mp body for the 'whole boat' and field shots.
There's over 800 images for the regatta, so make sure you page through each gallery.
I try and pick at least a couple of shots of each competitor, but feel free to give me a call if you can't find your boat.
These are unprocessed proof images, so they're not totally on kilter, uncorrected for tone and color, and not always well composed. All these issues are normal and correctable. In some cases I've cropped quite close for impact, but I'll let you know if it's not a good candidate for enlargement.
You're welcome to save and print these files for personal use. You'll get reasonably good results at print sizes up to 4 by 6 inches. Contact me regarding publication or commercial usages
The largest uploaded 'original' version of each image on this website is less than 1 megapixel - about 1/16 of the actual image I get from the camera and use as the basis for custom-made prints
Larger, hand-crafted prints to 16 by 24 inches, or multiple copies to a total of ~400 square inches, are available for $75. I spend an hour or more working with each image to leverage every bit of emotion, color and detail, assuring your satisfaction
