Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for this awesome resource for us ESL teachers...I have found three of my jobs here on this site! The first was in Linyi, China, second in Miami, Florida and third in West Bank, Palestine. I always recommend this site to all my friends and family when they ask about my teaching job/experience. Thanks again!! Elyse

Marilee 13-Oct-2008 15:16
Dave - It was photography that got me to attend art school. I appreciate your work, especially the B&W. I'd love to go overseas to teach, but, alas, people seem to have the mistaken notion that at 63, I'm over the hill. Can you possibly steer me to something more positive?

I'm happy to see that you've updated the pics since your 1989 wedding. Your website is quite remarkable. I'm amazed that for all the people who have visited it, few find time to post comments. Marilee

Greetings; first timer on your site. I was riding my bike along the Hong river in Soeul, S. Korea and stoped to speak to a group of ESL teachers that where enjoying them selves. When I inquired about needing one or two teachers in the near future, I was told about your site. Even though I agree that you have a beautiful family and great ability to photograph, I am more intrested in finding a couple of great teachers. Am I at the correct place for what I am looking for? God

Hello! I must say that you are an amazing photographer!! I loved the photos from Japan, because I recently lived there for 5 months, and I am planning on going back to Tokyo to teach english at Shane English school.
Would you fill me in with any details you know about the school? Is it good?

Thank you, and best luck with you and your beautiful family!

Browsing for thoughts I stumbled onto your website and was warmly received by your very attentive photographs. Great to view the world through your aspiring eyes.
Words and pictures that have a seemingly tenuous link but with further examination hits the nail on the head. Thanks for creating your fun and very informative website

OMG! My boyfriend, who is from France, Paris, wants to take me to his city. I was a bit reluctant because I've always heard that people from Paris are very snob. In addition, I do not know any French. But you know what? I think I am going to give the try. Your pictures teased me!!!

Dear Dave: I'm from Argentina. I've visited your web site many times before, and let me tell you that someone can easily see how much love and care you have put on this site. Sorry if my bad english doesn't show my really feelings. I mean, You are an inspiration for those who feel that there is something else in life to do. I can see that you love English, and love meeting people and getting to know them (I see that in the beautiful pictures you took, I hardly believe you know all those in Thailand!)and when a person does whatever his/her heart demands, well my friend, the resault is just one: beauty. I find your pictures touching, it's clear for me you want to say something with them. I don't have engoug words to explain. It's so moving. One fine picture may be luck. All those you have taken on your family... well, congratulations! Good has give you a wonderful family.
Take care, Dave. And congrats. again. And thanks you for sharing part of your life and give unknown people like me the chance to get closer to this language and the opportunity of chatting and learning a little more. Thanks Dave!
