This could take a while... The base piece of glass is actually horizontal. The 'desk' is actually only 3" deep and is angled. All the pieces of glass in the air are hung using fishing line. The base is the furthest forward and the other pieces are back about 5 inches so the falling water won't hit them and move them. The glass chard in the base is crazy glued in place. The water was poured by my neighbor and wife into the base. In photoshop I rotated the piece counter clockwise until the 'desk' was horizontal. I removed water drops that weren't behaving and moved the levels a bit. Took a week to get the setup right and about an hour of shooting. The whole setup came crashing down after this exposure. I really wanted to take a picture of this one.

The reason I angled the setup was to get the water look like it is flowing at an angle really giving the illusion that this bottle bounced and then broke open.

This is my favorite images of all my pictures. It was the hardest thing I ever did and would never attempt to do it again. Most just pass over it. Thanks for noticing.

The thought behind it was a friends break up with his wife.
