Virgil Earp Killed by Cowboy Johnny Boyett in Wilcox AZ July 1900, reprinted in The Sun-Eagle, Enid, OK

This is an early news report that went out of Wilcox indicating that "Virgil Earp" was killed, but later corrected to his brother Warren Earp.
