A little after 7PM the good old “let’s go find a photo” bug made me leave my apartment and go for a drive. Around and around the countryside north of the city I went, looking for a shot. The sun was setting with a nice orange color but no grand vistas were found.
As I turned back towards Pittsburgh a massive thunder head was being illuminated by the sun which had already sunk below the horizon. Thinking I needed something to place in front of this colorful cloud to contrast with it and add some interest I quickly drove to the nearest church that I knew of relative to my location.
This is Faith Lutheran Church in Natrona Heights, a place I once lived… I was only a block from my old home.
