Pittsburgh, PA

It was such a nice day out today. I decided to go wandering around Oakland at lunchtime like I used to. I got a lot of exercise and eventually ended up near the Heinz Chapel. I had shot a few images of this wonderful building a while back and was hesitant at first to go in looking for a shot. The old, “been there, done that’ attitude that can happen when you wander around the same place for a year looking for shots. Anyway, I resisted that thought and went in anyway. Sitting in the back pew this is what I saw.

How well I remember this--I graduated from Pitt--and was a docent for the chapel and International rooms. I really enjoy looking through you PAD as it brings back so many memories. I lived away from Pittsburgh for a long time. I also think you've done a terrific job with subjects, technique--and perserverance.
