Saxonburg, PA

The day after the flood the sun came out and it was a beautiful day. I drove up North to Saxonburg, PA to go to the Penns Colony festival with Cat. I had expected to see a lot of colonial re-enactments and such. It was not until AFTER I paid to get in that I discovered, much to my chagrin, they had cancelled all the events. Basically, the only thing going on there was a crafts fair with a scattering of people in period costume. I didn’t see much worth shooting but I did snap this one of the kettle corn vendor. There was just something painterly about this image that I liked.
