I just the other day was moving into my apartment and this red color spider came out it had silver looking mark on its back I've never seen anything like it, can someone tell me what it is? I live in Indianapolis, Indiana I am not sure were that is. It freaked my daughter and me out, she is scared of spiders. I would also like to know if it is poison?

Well today I saw two odd spiders one dead and one alive (I took a picture of the dead one I was too afraid of the one that was alive) the color of it was a light orange-yellowish body and the legs were the same except they had a brown--yellow color stripes in them the spider almost look transparent. I just wanted wanted to know if they are poisonous because I have a small child and didn't want it to harm him also I'm just plain curious to see what it is. So if anyone can help me plaza email me thanks

Hi there i'm from england and live in a village in the pennines. My girlfriend found a spider today, in our flat it is small in size about 1/2 an inch, transparent like legs. on its front 2 legs it has a brown spot in the middle on each.it has 2 things sticking out the front of its head not sure if they're fangs wouldn't like to find out :) and its body has almost luminous red and yellow stripes. any ideas as to what it is please?

I found theses spiders all around outside my house they have a red abdomen and one fang they are very aggressive and i have looked everywhere and can not find it please help i have four small children. Thank you.

Ok. So I have a really bid question to whom ever this may concern!!!! My friend found a really big black spider in a bad that I got out of my grand father's garage and I am really desperate on knowing what kind of spider this was! PLEASE HELP!!! It looked very similar to a black widow WITHOUT the red on the body. I'm preying that it was NOT a black widow she now I are experts on spiders. If anyone could help this would mean ALOT!!! Ok, so I have had these massive black spiders somehow getting into my house. Never had this problem before. They are roughly half the size of a dollar bill and awfully fiesty. I can't find a picture that fits it. Its not a black widow, because its hairy and not spindly at all. No markings just a pure black, hairy, big spider. I've sprayed my house so I hope they go away but I would like to know if they arm harmful to humans.

I found a huge hairy grey spider with peppered markings and maybe some white in there too; it was near the bottom of a wood pile around some wet, fungussy wood. I moved a piece and there it was, prob about 3" long with thick bulky legs. I have also found some quite large black hairy spiders around in my garage. Much bigger abdomen than the wolf spider and little bit larger. The grey spider was quite enourmouse though and I cant find a pic of either; can anyone help?

i think i have discovered a new species of spider. it has a yellow orange striped butt and bleack and white zebra striped legs. it is pretty decent in size and has huge fangs. real beautiful colors. any info? god bless

I'm not a big fan of spiders but i was wondering what kind or spider this is.its is orange fuzzy,with two spikes,and four holes on its abdomen and has striped legs with different shades of orange.

I need some assistance, i am from northern indiana and i have these large spiders everywhere, they usually hide during the day, and come out at night unless there is a bug caught in their web. i have researched and it looks similar to the orb spider or whatever, accept the back of it is very large and rounded either dark red, dark orange, or a very bright yellow with black markings. the legs are long and are mostly bright orange in the sunlight, with yellow a the tips of the legs. they arent hairy or anything, and i am afraid of spiders and i just really want to know what kind of spider this could be. help please! e-mail me! night_rider2005@msn.com

i found a spider in my backyard and would like to know if anyone can tell me what kind it is. it is small, roundish, bright orange, the body looks like it would be hard, like a crab.(havn't touched it, so don't know for sure) it has several sharp pointy things around the edge. i know this sound strange, but it's in my backyard. it doesn't look like a spider at all until it moves, the head comes out from under the shell-like part. the web is pretty big for the size spider, and it is 2 toned. it's a really pretty web.

Here in North Carolina I've found a spider much like y'all are talking about only it has the orange, nearly transparently so, leg and a deep blue cobalt body. Very beautiful. If only spiders didn't scare the heck out of me. Please e-mail me if you know what kind of spider this is. I'm not so sure it is a native North American species. They measure on average about a centimeter in length and .75 centimeters wide. Legs and all. styersdc@hotmail.com

I also have seen this same spider here in North Mississippi. Can anyone relate to what type of spider or name this is? Black body,bulky, with orange legs and HUGE fromt legs/fangs or something. Never in 38 years have i seen one of these in this area. reply to xxgrooovyxx@yahoo.com THanks!

i have found a four legged spider too in INDIA, a very strange fact about its web is that on its web it has four white spring coiled white strands of its own web i guess and they are exactly where its legs meet the web. If you want the pictures send me an email and i would post the pictures... it has orange legs.
