The Green Ibis is one of several ibis species that can be found in the Pantanal and to me is the most unusual of them. I think it is because it has such short legs and a very short tail. This is especially obvious when they fly as you can see here. It looks almost like the back end of the bird got cut off. The iridescence is also quite nice.
