One of the common birds in Costa Rica is this Rufous-collared Sparrow. Because it is so common it rarely gets much attention to the birders that I take to the country. Many of the photographers that I take, however, really appreciate the beauty of this little bird. With those colors and markings, I find this one difficult to pass up.
