Elanoides forficatus

During our trip to Brazil we witnessed what was for us something new when we stopped to photograph this Swallow-tailed Kite. I didn’t notice it until later when reviewing the photos but the kite had a cluster of berries in its talons and while circling over us picked one off and moments later spit out the seed. I thought it was fairly interesting to see a raptor eating fruit.
