Julio Martinez carrying the M-60 machinegun on a recon patrol. Feb. '68. Julio is a veteran of Alpha Co. and Recon. He was a brave and exceptional soldier. He received a Bronze Star Medal which was well-deserved. Julio's M-60 and his skill in using it was highly respected and relied upon by all of us. He is still an exceptional guy and I'm proud to be his comrade.
