En route

Our aircraft developed a mechanical problem and we had a layover in Hawaii. This was taken at Aloha International Airport before we took off again. Not a very imposing figure, but there was a lot of experience coming my way.

Great memories! I went to Japan from 66-68 . I saw soldiers and airman going down range and returning. I have vivid memories of the aluminum caskets on the aircraft we loaded. Reading the mail to the ones in the tachikawa hospital and enjoying some drinks with the ones who returned to the USA.

Great memories always ... we stopped in Hawaii for 4 hrs but made the trip over in a troop ship (28 days)
