Alan Turing's birthplace - now the Colonnade Hotel

Our lodging in London, the Colonnade Hotel. The hotel is very nice, with good-sized guest rooms and fantastic staff. It also has a fascinating history. Alan Turing, the pioneering computer scientist and code-breaker, was born here in 1912, when the building was a maternity hospital.

I would like to obtain a copy (jpeg) of your photo (Alan Turing's birthplace -- now the Colonnade Hotel) for my non-commercial use. I am very interested in Alan Turing , his early childhood and the Bletchley Park years more especially. During the 1940's I attended a boarding school in Frant, Sussex, where Turin had been a pupil. In Turing's days it was called Hazelhurst School, but the school was requisitioned by Canadian troops during WWII. After the war it re-opened -- under new ownership -- as Beaconsfield School. I emigrated to Canada in 1958 and am now 87 years old, living in Edmonton, Alberta. I would like to add this photo to a family photo album. Thank you. Milton Freeman
