1Lt. Tony Seahorn was assigned to 2/28th Black Lions in 1968 as Dauntless 10, BN Communications Officer. During his tour he served courageously on many operations, including the battle at NDP Julie in late October 1968, when the remote position was attacked by hundreds of NVA Regulars. During his Vietnam Tour, Tony was decorated for valor with 2 Bronze Stars, Purple Hearts, Air Medal with "V" device, and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross.
Tony, an MBA and successful businessman, is still leading from the front. Along with his wife Janet, a neurosciences Ph.D, they have written a book about PTSD, "Tears of a Warrior". It is highly recommended reading for anyone who suffers from the physical & emotional scars of combat. The book is of special benefit to veterans with PTSD or their family members/loved ones.
