Rear mast support. The line holds the support vertical. Releasing the line allows the post to fold down to the left, along the rear trailer beam, for on trailer, out of the way storage while using the trailer as a launching platform. There is also a pip pin at the base that can be pulled to allow the entire post to be completely removed for off trailer storage.
