Finally putting stuff in. TIP: If you have to replace your sills be sure you get the ones that are fully formed. Some vendors just sell a length of partially formed metal without the proper shape front and back.
Some stubborn pieces of the sill behind the latch post had to be removed for starters today. While I was down there i cut off the bottom of the cab corner and cleaned up the flange of the inner cab corner, which surprisingly is in pretty good shape. Outer cab corners were all fiberglass and bondo but that's okay, they have to be replaced anyway and with them gone it's extra access to the rear of the sill which will make welding easier.
The sill dropped right in... I didn't have to cut anything. It's temporarily held on by Clecos from behind.
I started to fit the outer cowl but it's going to take some time to get it right so I'll work on it some more tomorrow.
