Your love of PA wildflowers as depicted through your artistry is infectious. As a fellow PA native plant enthusiast and general PA biodiversity champion, I greatly appreciate your work. However, as people are using this portfolio as a native plant resource, I respectfully ask that you clearly identify the introduced, naturalized and invasive alien plants you include in these "native" plant photos (e.g., coltsfoot, dame's rocket, daisies, queen-Anne's lace, forget me nots, and teasel). These foreign plants along with thousands of others are choking out our indigenous plants and thereby eliminating our beloved PA insects, birds, and other animals they support. Thank you.

Great resource for native Pa plants. Good sharp pix of plants hard to find. Looking for native ferns to add to my garden. Christmas and Cinnamon Ferns added legally via Philly's local Schuylkill Center for Environ.Ed.It holds sales to encourage planting natives. Morris Arboretum, known for rare trees and shrubs gathered on trips to Asia and Europe, is renewing their efforts as well. Thanks for all your work.

I found these berries locally and could not identify them nor have I ever seen them before. They are around 1/4 to 3/8 thick blue berries with a very hard black seed inside that fills the inside of the berry. It appears that it is on a tree because it has a thick main stem, but could be a bush, it had to fight for light. The leaves are triangular and the stems have thorns similar to a rose bush but smaller. I have some pictures, but not sure how to send them to you?

Thanks for sharing these lovely images. I enjoy taking photos of Pennsylvania's wildflowers too. I was so excited to find pink lady slippers to photograph. I would love to see some yellow or showy ones someday. I'm sure your photos will help many of us learn to recognize new species. It's nice that you posted the camera info also.
