Thanks for the ID Derrick. I have to confess though. I caught this fella in my home, and then I stuck it in the fridge for awhile. Before I brought him out, I got my camera set up. The day before he had been getting some nectar from these flowers, so I put him there. I thought I might have about 5min. before he flew off, but he stayed there about 15min. This was the first time I did anything like that, so I made sure he was able to fly. I was glad he recovered without any side effects. Kathy

Hi Kathy, this is a Snowberry Clearwing Moth (Hemaris diffinis), nice capture of a moth that doesn't usualy sit still for long, Derrick
