What was on the TV? I'm guessing it was just static but I would have guessed that it would be more or less pure white with a 1 sec shutter time. And did you hand hold that? Even more impressive. Welcome aboard. -COAmature

My guess is that you shot with your t-shirt over your head. I am also guessing that the flash which must have been set incredibly low is what created the shadow on the right side of your face that combines with the hair on your face for a rough look. Very clever. John

Hi all. Thanks for the comments.

Many entries seemed to be shooting for a sharp, natural, or film look, so I went the opposite way, trying to produce a clearly digital image (hence the title).

The background helped to produce the effect. It's kinda silly what it is, but I'll reveal that later.

Don't know whether this is a compliment or a criticism but the backround makes it look like it didn't come straight out of the camera.
