After a bit more playing about I've settled on B&W / Colour combo with a bit of 'horizon' adjustment. -mcbit

I checked out the BW version. Maybe I was wrong. I definitley like the right image better in BW. I'm undecided on the left. TV's suggestion was probably more useful than mine. Try to get the perspective and horizon to make a better match.

This is exactly the type of entry I was hoping to see. Good work. Here are two thoughts that might tie this together even more. 1) Try black and white out. 2) Enlarge and crop the left image so that edge of the water in the background lines up with the diagonal line on the upper-left of the street picture.
