Thank you Mary Anne, Rod and Alexeig for your comments and suggestions. The original has quite a foggy look, so I never thought the postprocessed image needed more contrast... \Oved

Oved, I think it would be hard to distinguish between the view outside the window and the design of the curtain if it weren't in color. --Mary Anne
