Too Close - NJ

Dragonfly's are so cool. The best part that I like the most is that they land in practically the same spot almost every time. Same bug, same place. So if you can figure that out, you can make yourself comfortable, as I did, sitting on a small wall. Prepare the close up, in this case, I use a 250d, 500d, and I think a +2 diopter. Held very still, got in about 5 shots before it took off. The depth is very limited with this as you can see. I think I was about a inch from it's face, it was pretty patient.

This is one of my favorites of your images. The way you caught the compound eye structure is fabulous.
