Please don't think I'm picking on you. This is just a pet peeve of mine. I've seen shots just like this in photography how-to books and it drives me nuts. Unless there is something special going on with the shadow, or it is somehow interplaying with the background, it just seems like an amateur thing to me - becuase why would it be intentionally there if it is not serving a purpose. It's just an uninteresting shadow that is in the way of an interesting background. ~ Lonnit, feeling badly
