Paul,

30 or 40 takes. I erased alot of bad shots. Either there were no butter, very blurred butter or my head was moving. No photoshop tricks here. Ended up having my wife drop the butter from above. The flash stopped the butter and then gave a blur as it fell.

Lee, I hesitate to ask, but how many "takes" did you do and how many cubes of butter gave their all? ;-) Or was this done NOT in the evident setup?

I detect the influence of iso here. Now get that background stark white and die your hair a very DARK color and we'll all think it was iso! LOL Very good Lee.
