I can only agree with what sww so nicely put... exceptional light, it's soft but clear - it's an oxy-moron and I like it very much...Bee

The light is great, of course, but I think part of what makes it interesting is the strong horizontal of the railing, reinforced by the distant horizon, in contrast to the perpendicular canal. The texture on the railing is interesting too.

Steve, don't ask me why I shot this, let alone entered it in the challenge. There was something about the light that struck me.

Gorgeous light and moody composition. It's hard for me to put a finger on it but there's something I really like here.
