It's funny that I thought that they were flying to the right. It made me think they were looking down. Now I see that they are flying to the left and that the leader has gotten a little ahead. A very nice picture indeed.

Thank you for the comments. I didn't even know that I had a reflection when I took the shot...just taking an early-morning walk with my camera when these geese suddenly lifted off.

Most excellent Mary Anne. The fog gives it mood which is missing in so many pictures. Its true that the lead bird has the best view. -Doug

Peaceful - lovely, almost shimmering, color. The fog makes excellent diffused light - not sure what that says about the reflection. Penny Street
