Thanks a lot, CJ, for your kind comment. Yes, I had displayed this a year ago in a Challenge after shooting it as my first--and so far only--learning and practising experience in panning. I've chosen it for the actual challenge once more as it is on-topic (there *is* the smile) and, nevertheless, different from all those many portraits in this gallery. BTW, maybe Cristina is not only enjoying her new car but also the fact that I had just said "one mo' time and then let's call it a day": no more driving right to left, left to right, again and again ;-)) (Panning is not as easy as I had imagined.) -- db.
