eye-shadow

This little critter came up to my backdoor last night. I leave a dish of water for them, the cats, the skunks & whatever else might come along in need of a drink or paw washing.

Thanks everyone for the unexpected comments.

Thanks aam1234 for considering this on-topic. (I think so too. A stretch, but hey, it's just a photo challenge.) I have entered another picy in it's place.

Others have less shadow and are on-topic, so this one is on-topic too.

Tom, must be the time of year. Last night we found three raccoons in our garage, stealing food from our cats! Although we get all kinds of critters, it is rare for us to see a raccoon. - angioman

Nice pun, shame about the picy:-)

Thanks for the pun Tom. Shows you still have a sense of humor unlike me. -tv

Thanks for the comments, folks. I realize this is hardly on-topic, just a bit of wordplay & creative fun.

It leaves a shadow of a doubt even with his head's shadow off to the right. -COAmature

Great shot - but if this is on topic then I'll be confused. I see a shadow on his right, but the title indicates to me you intend the shadow to be the eyes? Anyway, this is a great capture but I wouldn't consider it topical. jano

I can see it now - the camera, the tripo, Tom D, and the little dish of water - all waiting to see who shows up. Good one.
