Challenge 98 - New Year Resolutions

We just got done with holiday season and now ready for 2006...so let us know photographically, what is your new year resolution?

Another take on the topic would be to show the current situation associated to your resolution. Gallery representative image shows the current drinking problem...hence, 'control alcohol' would be the resolution.

- Dieting or show current bad state
- Catch up with some hobby or get a new hobby
- Trying to get rid of some habit (right now i can think of one example, "no smoking". you can show negative effects of tobacco in photographs. you dont necessarily have to be the subject. )
- Regular exercise or current bad state
- Learn some sport
- Do something for your loved one(s)

Just about anything you might have decided this year or any other year...yes, if you can remember or think of something from 25 years back...its fine too. Although, be realistic. Try to make distinction between 'outrageous/wild wishes/dreams' and 'resolution'.

Personally, the way I understand 'resolution' is, something that is within one's reach and practical limits. Not to mention, one honestly mean to work on whatever he/she has decided to achieve/accomplish.

This is THE meaning I have in my mind while choosing the topic, so that's what counts. Please pardon me, if it conflicts with some dictionary meaning(s).

I just want people to be honest. Poster has to decide whether his/her entry is on/off topic based on the 'resolution' definition I just explained.

For an example, my exhibition entry, "climbing time", shows me with some lead climbing gear because my resolution is to get certified as a lead rock-climber. Although, if I post a photograph of Mt. Everest by saying, 'i want to climb this next year', it would be all right but would be dishonest from my part and i will know the pic is off-topic.
