We are on the cusp of a New Year. Calendars, clocks, descending balls [ahem, as in Time Square, not the onset of puberty . . . though that would be an interesting take on the theme]stand out in the imagination. So how about a theme that can't be photographed directly; it's quite immaterial. But it's the hidden dimension of every photograph: TIME!
The passage of time, time flys, time stops, time crawls, the time is ripe, time to die, keeps on ticking, clocks, calendars, tree rings, erosion, sidereal motion, etc, etc.
Let me try to narrow the topic a little though. Ask yourself this, "If my image was untitled, would my fellow formum members be able to make the connection to TIME?" Thus, let's avoid lovely pictures of snowy hills that might be titled, "Winter Time." Or tables of food titled, "Dinner Time."
In short, how creatively and clearly can you put TIME on center stage?
