With a topic last visited in 2002, I thought it was about time we all turn our hand again to depicting movement. Its a favourite of mine, and I'd like to see how my little G9 copes with it :)
In this challenge I hope we can explore the various techniques available to produce an image that shows something in a state of motion. The two ways that come to my mind are slow shutter speeds, giving motion blur and a sense speed and time, and fast shutter speeds to freeze a moving subject to make it appear static and sharp.
Flash may be used in the same way - either to freeze the subject, or perhaps by using second curtain sync (if available on your chosen camera) to create blurry images.
Hopefully we can make some great images of the ordinary looking extraordinary.
