The challenge is to create an attractive image of a Found Abstract. "Abstract", meaning the subject is not readily identifiable (even to its mother), or at least, somewhat mysterious. Geometric patterns, textures, ripples and/or waves in water and reflections would all qualify. No particular rules of composition need apply but the image should have an undeniable visual appeal. "Found", meaning the subject must not be a "set-up".
Post processing may be used but the idea isn't to disfigure an image to the point of abstraction, but rather to photograph a subject in such a way as to present an image which is attractive, yet somehow "unreal" in appearance. PP should be limited to mild color changes, curves, highlights and shadows, normal RAW workflow, and so on. Any photo techniques may be used, i.e. zooms, motion, light manipulations, etc.
Get wild, shoot some great shots and most of all, have fun!!
