I have an opportunity to purchase 2 Fontaine Fox original artwork cartoons at an auction. They are both framed and one has notes from the owner documenting that Fox gave them to her husband who was also a cartoonist (Syl Buckel). One has a stained color from age, I would imagine and the other seems to be in super shape and no discoloring. Would you have any clue as to what something like this would be worth? I will take pictures in 2 days and I could email the pictures if that would help.

I would like to find out more information about Fontaine Fox's work. Is there an exhibit or collection somewhere?

I have a small piece he drew. How can I find out what that might be valued for?
