Goodbye sweet Jasper. You were a great dog!

We decided to let Jasper go today. His hip problems were getting to be too much for him,
and with winter coming, we didn't want to risk him injuring himself.

Oh no, I saw the photo and I knew. What a beautiful tribute the photo is to your handsome Jasper. I'm so sorry Carl and family. He reminds me so much of Fenway. Those black tri boys are very special. He is at peace now and will always be loved and remembered. My eyes are welling up as I think of our beautiful boys. Take care.

Sorry to see the passing of a beautiful family member. Sometimes I wish we could afford the same compassion to our human family members, but I guess suffering must be a part of the human experience.

Oh no, as soon as I saw that thumbnail I knew. You had said several times recently in your posts, that he was ailing. This is dreadfully sad news, very, very sad. Jasper was such a beautiful boy and he was a good friend I have no doubt. It is tough making these decisions, but in the end, we do it for our pets, even though it hurts us like anything. Take care.
