The Spiderwort is one of my favorite perennials. Its color, from its leaves to its blooms,
is stunning. It's enjoying the cooler start to summer as much as I am! In a few weeks
when the daily highs are over 80º F, it will close up shop, only showing flowers in the
early morning and late evening. Then it will wither and wait until next year.
