Having heard about some Short-eared Owls that were frequenting a field, we headed north to Orleans
County. I had hoped to post a shot of one of the owls, but it was getting dark fast. I noticed
this farm house on the hill and thought it made a nice shot.

We did see three owls. Another life list-bird for the three of us. The owls flew around,
rather close, calling while they hunted for mice. The shot I got is recognizable,
but not worth posting.
