This still reminds me of some "Teletubbies on Mars" setting :) Peculiar, amusing and appealing. Interesting to hear what the "white stuff" really is. The landscape architects, or whoever designed the entity at large, must have had a great time. They've managed to merge it all into a piece of art. At least the way you present it here.. nice flow.

I have a reply from Paul Thompson, the designer of this garden, explaining what the 'white stuff' is. He says: This is a sculpture by Mark Stoner and Edwina Kearney called Ephemeral Lake 2006. It is ceramic. Julie

Thanks mlynn. Not sure what the white stuff is. My guess is clay, but I know the designer, Paul Thompson, and maybe he can enlighten us. Will keep you posted. Julie
