Yeah, I suppose that you could crop along the bottom floor line. I think that Tom's problems is pretty much the same as mine...he want's to give as much context and information as possible. However, the tighter crop still does work image-wise.
Be that as it may, I like the color...but no one has mentioned that I see a M.C. Escher here...not joke, it is there.
Great idea but I agree it either needs B&W or perhaps remove that floor. For me the floor is too distracting, it would be much stronger if more minimalistic... just the background wall all the way to the bottom of the frame.
