Sorry Traveller, I have no idea how to delete the previous mumbo-jumbo of messages I have left. Please delete them for me if you can. Thanks, Julie

Don't worry, Julie, we'll take care of it...and if you win we'll hold a spot up for you for when you get better and are Fully recovered. We'll call it Julie's Challenge or something like that.

You really have done some wonderful work this challenge. You can be proud.

But the only think that matters is that you tend to yourself and that you get better as quickly as possible.

Very Best Wishes to You and Hopes for a Speedy Recovery.

Yes, the Turner is mine as well. Thanks for your comments. Will try to post the EXIF later. I am about to enter hospital for an extended time and realise that if perchance this image wins, I will be unable to run the next comp. Will someone take over if this happens please? Julie

One of those great pictures that really draws you in. I keep trying to see whats juuust over that little hill.
Canon DSLR Challenge10-Apr-2007 12:55
BTW, should I therefore presume that the Turner's are yours over in Exhibition? Best Wishes, Traveller
Canon DSLR Challenge10-Apr-2007 12:52
Hey, Julie is this yours? Really excellent! And not so easy keeping the sun from burning out...could you post the EXIF? I like this enough to study it and how it was acomplished. Best Wishes, Traveller

Beautifully composed and captured. The fence seems to be electrified, but does not appear to be very high. What is it supposed to keep in (or out)? Sorry for being curious. Compliments on a stunning capture. Regards jnconradie

Beautiful color and a nice sense of desolation I think. Well done.

Thanks Traveller. I didn't have the problem of seeing the whole image on my monitor as you did. I would be interested to know whether others had experienced difficulty with it before you made the change. Artist

Done....however all I did was resize and save as Quality 11 in Photoshop.

Sorry...this had to be taken care of.

Dynamite image though.

Best Wishes, Traveller

I love the physical density of this image...it is nice in all regards, but for whatever reason it doesn't fit on my monitor at all....this creates one of those situations where a viewer has to scroll around to see the total image.

Not good....especially not good for such a well constructed image.

However, even more important, I think this problem is distracting to the the people wandering through the gallery.

Which brings up the throught that...viewing pleasure is an important concern. The surroundings and how a picture is seen gets tons of obsessive detail & worry by a bunch of very smart people in ever Gallery I know of.

And so here also.

I will resize this to fit my monitor in about an hour or so unless you do it first. Not much time really...but this is something that needs attending to.

This is not to criticize the image at all....merely the way it is presented.

I really like this picture.

But this is a Management question and not really an Artist issue...

Best Wishes,

Traveller
