This truly is sort of a mesmerizing, mind-puzzling sort of image, well-done. --Melanie

Thanks CJ and Michael :-) That light bulb was kind of a pain Michael- thanks for motivating me to get rid of it.

Well seen, I particularly like the myriad greys that make up this image. One little nit is that I find the light bulb behind the railing on the right really vies for my visual attention. I think the lines would be even stronger without it. -Michael

Really, I don't remember Daniel? ...busted! I thought commenting on my own image would throw off the guessers. Good detective work :-)

Brent: No wonder you «like this one very much»: I remember a surprisingly similar image by yourself (just looking down, not up)... — db.

Compliments! I love Escher, but would not have been able to come up with such an excellent image in tribute to his creations. Well done! Regards jnconradie

Many thanks Traveller. I wanted this to resemble a sketch, so ISO 1600 seemed appropriate to add some graininess. To the credit of the 30D sensor; I needed to add some more grain and a diffusing filter in PP to get the look I wanted.

Very clean and nice. As often is said, you have to see it before you can even take the photograph...that you saw what many would miss, is the real compliment.

Any particular reason that you shot this at 1600 asa? I see the f11, which you needed for the dof...really a low light, hun?

Still, nicely done.

Best wishes,

Traveller
