I don't know if I can get this subject to work for this challenge, but I'd like to try. There certainly is a lot of stuff that could be removed from the image to simplify it. Ideas are welcomed.

I really like the picture of the faucet and the green fence Victor - just crop out everything below the green and you have a great looking simple shot without any distractions! It may need a little more processing, but the colors and the comp look great! In the original picture, cropping out everything except the "P-trap" with the joists also makes an interesting shot. CJ

I like Mary Anne's suggestion, that 'S' trap from the original angle with just OOF floor joists in the background could 'say it all' for me. The joists/bearers have wonderful grain.. those 'knots' are interesting. The title would work as 'For Sale' at least for me. ~ Regards Bob

I don't think a silhouette is possible without LOTS of photoshop work. I did, however, take this shot, with the fence and siding of the next door neighbor's house as background.

I like the tighter crop better, at least for this challenge topic. Have you thought about getting a silhouette? You know, simplifying it down to the bare bones of the house.

I don't want to lose the fact that this house is for sale, so I want to keep the For Sale sign in the picture. How about a tighter crop like this one? Another problem is that technically, I guess I'm trespassing to get these shots. Maybe I can call the number on the sign and get permission.

Victor, I'd try a closeup of one of the pipes with OOF background. Or is that too cliched? Actually, that shiny trap about a third of the way in on the left looks as if it might have some possibilities...interesting curved lines and maybe some reflections.
