Negative

my backyard

This is the same shot as the "Smokin"" shot, just different post work. I changed it to B&W, turned it into a negative, then cleaned some of the spots, and the flair from my hand.

Thanks folks. This was pretty much an accident. I was just going to try the shot as a B&W. After the conversion, I thought that it looked pretty dull. So just playing around in PS, I changed the color shot to a negative and thought that it looked good. Then changing it B&W really made it come together.

This is great, I like your treatment using negative, it would be interesting to try only 'negativing' (new word?) the character and leaving the flame positive... for me it is a bit too contrasty in black. Love it though.. terrific capture and PP.. Regards ~ Bob
