Lovely tones and textures and very much not the 'usual' close-up of tulips. Tim

Lovely tulip shot with an unusual angle that works well. As I have been saying in other comments, shallow depth of field usually does not give good perspective, depth, to an image, it generally compresses the perspective and does away with any depth. However, I think it works here because of the shadow between the flowers, it seems like we are looking down deep into the bouquet. A really beautiful image, Dick! ~Sharon
