This is my favourite of your three, more so since your explanation of how the sun got there.
The contrast between the sharply focussed foreground aind soft background is pleasing and emphasises the subject - misty.

Thanks for commenting Andy. The "sun" is not! LOL! It is a PS Lens Flare! :) See, the problem was that the upper left corner was too distracting b/c it was too bright. No matter how much I toned it down it was still too bright - if I'd go further, it would look unnatural. I finally decided to go with the flow and give it reason to have brightness in the corner. I added my own "sun" and then it had a good excuse to be brighter there and it made the image have better balance. The moment I dropped in the "sun", the image immediately became comfortable and better balanced. That's the first time I ever added a sun. I got the idea b/c I just went to a seminar by one of my camera club members, whose work I really admire. He showed some examples where he added the flare. It was fresh on my mind from the night before. :) ~ Lonnit
This series has an a mystical aura about it. Very intense fog since the sun appears to be shining through top left. I'm guessing that that the intensity of the light has caused you to pull back on the top half of the image. Still the overall effect has made the trip well worth it.
