I really like this, excellent idea and well-composed. --Melanie (mlynn)

This works really well. I particularly like the b&w clothes on the person and the bold color of the faceless doll...and yeah, the faceless doll is a stroke of genius. -Michael

I really like this one - its strong and unsettling. It is nicely lightened by the playful upturned toes - a nice touch.

Striking image, clickable. When you see it in the gallery it makes you want to click it to find out what it is about. I really like the image and technique, I am not sure if it is totally pushed as much as I would like. Meaning, I like the green cast, and the other stuff but would like to see a little more, maybe in the crop, maybe just another detail to enforce what is going on. For some reason I want to see a wall socket in the lower right? I don't know, nice job though. Chris

Great image and an interesting choice of subject (ie an adult) in conntrast with your other entry.

I have to agree, the color cast adds to the unsettling ambiance of the shot. disturbing, but not in the same way as your other shot. You can feel the loneliness.

Hey Teapot,

Thanks for the criticism. The green cast was intentional. Just ask Olaf. To me, the color cast makes it a little unsettling.

I really like this composition, works for me on many levels. I think if I was being picky though, I would have liked to see the other hand in the shot and the body aligned with the thirds. Also think the white balance needs adjusted.
Teapot.

This gives me a freaky feeling with this faceless doll. Like these visions which came to the boy in Kubrick "The Shining"

Like the double facelessness if you'll pardon the word. Balance of the composition and toning make you pay attention too. Good shot.

Really like this. It's a great shot technically and has real substance. I could see a series of these in a book.

I agree with the positive comments, but I don't care so much for your green-spell... --Olaf.dk

Much prefer this to the other version. Hard, interesting crop. The colours make it *edgy* without being as in your face (groan) as the first one. The faceless doll is a fantastic little extra and gels the whole thing together.

Oh yeah, this is good! Not much more to say really.

Nice. Composition engages the mind, kinda demands that it participate. The toning and edits on the doll seal the deal. Question: Did you have your model elevate her big toes? Excellent touch, as it conveys anticipation. Very nice.

aah, wow! I like this one a lot more. wtg. Shu's words mimic my thoughts.

I agree with Shu on this...very nice. Maybe tells a story & could easily hang in a gallery. Traveller

This image is really great! The color of the rag doll, composition and the facelessness of the figure focuses one's attention on the toes.........really outstanding, IMO! shu
