This shot was taken by taping a beanbag with a camera mount screw to the back of the car with duct tape. Then screwing the camera onto it. Setting the camera on a 1/2 sec exposure in self timer mode and triggering it with a remote trigger.
Just glad that duct tape is so strong....had visions of the insurance form.

It's a pretty cool shot! You are brave to use the duct tape method! I'm too afraid my "dee" would fly off and I'd catch a glimpse of it in the rearview mirror! A+ for effort! Roberta

High marks for your mechanical ingenuity! Given the setup, this is great image. I can't really fault your composition if you couldn't even see what was going to be in the shot, but I'd like to see more of your left arm at the bottom. (And anyone who gets to drive a Lotus Elise around gets no votes from me - you have it too good already! kidding)
