There are the eyes for you. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to do any more shooting for this contest, but I did go though the 84 images I shot in this series and found one where his eyes were in the mirror. With some minor adjustments in color, size, perspective, and creative layer blending, they fit into this shot quite nicely. - Jordan

Very effective image. However, I do agree that being able to see the driver's eyes would make it really exceptional. I hope you get to try a shot like that before the end of the challenge.

I thought about moving the mirror to reflect the drivers Eyes but he decided it was better not to. Perhaps I will make another attempt at a simular picture before the contest ends and get the eyes in the picture, or mabey some cool sunglasses!.

The actual speedo reading during this shot was actually not very high, it was 'adjusted' in post processing to about 190 KPH (about 120MPH). To do really do a shot at 190 kph 'safely' would require special brackets to hold the camera still and a cable release.

For this shot I was sitting in the middle seat in the back with just the lap belt on pusing down on the tripod and pusing the release manually. Quite a lot of work but worth it!.

Very impressive shot. What was the speedo reading?

Just a small adjustment on the mirror to capture the eyes of the driver would have IMHO kicked up this picture a notch! Nice otherwise!
