Hi Olaf, thanks for the kind comment (thx to Ed, Gayle and Ralph too). This wasn't meant to be a funny picture. Last weekend I was just walking around as usual with the camera, actually trying to practice Perspective (=boring). Got almost run over by these guys who sneaked up from behind, and they came quite close for this shot. Afterwards I thought they looked a bit grim, but kinda funny :-) /Anna

Anna, this is one great photograph! You've managed to catch the men as individuals, in spite of their uniforms. It is really interesting to look at and it speaks volumes! Thanks for sharing. Oh - yeah, it's funny too! In Sweden, there is an obligatory military duty for all men, right? Here in Denmark all men are called in for session, but after day of mental and physical tests (which all have to do), you draw a number - if it's low you are drafted, if it high you are "let go". I consider myself lucky for having drawn a high number. --Olaf
